We share our campus with Waldorf Teacher Education Eugene (WTEE), offering a highly-regarded two year Waldorf teacher training certification program. WTEE attracts students from across the country.
Sharing the campus with WTEE has proven to be mutually beneficial and synergistic. WTEE student teachers interact with children, parents and EWS teachers, gaining a real feeling for the life of a school. EWS benefits from WTEE's students providing a great source of new energy in teaching, art and anthroposophy. Together we form a significant regional resource for Waldorf education and related studies.
Each year some parents enroll in WTEE's Foundation Year. Some do it for the sake of enriching their experience of Waldorf education, and some go on to become certified Waldorf teachers. WTEE also sponsors the Art Enrichment Project, which offers art classes and seminars to parents and the public, as well as art classes for adolescents.
