Blessed be childhood, which brings down something of heaven into the midst of our earthliness. Henry-Frederic Amiel
Parent and Infant Program
The Parent and Infant Waldorf Program provides support and enrichment for parents with infants and children up to two years old. In a peaceful and beautiful environment, we will discuss early childhood development as well as practical childcare and parenting questions. Simple handwork projects and delightful songs, rhymes and lullabies round out the program. It is also a place where parents meet and learn from each other's experiences, as well as explore the Waldorf approach to family life.
Parent and Toddler Program
The Parent and Toddler Waldorf Program provides support and enrichment for parents with children from age two to four years old. Once a week, you and your child will spend a joyful morning with other parents and an experienced Waldorf early childhood teacher in a safe and homey environment. Together we will guide the children towards social play. We will also work with movement, music and language development through songs, verses, stories and puppet-shows. While the children are at play, the parents are offered simple handwork activities. Parents also have the opportunity to share questions and insights, as well as become acquainted with the Waldorf approach to childrearing and education.
