Waldorf Summer Camps 2009

Around the World - For grades 1-5

Arts, crafts and activities.

Travel around the world through craft, story, and folklore. Explore a camp where we will create drums, moccasins, paper maché masks, tie-dye dashikis, and play ethnic games. We will perform plays and make traditional foods from indigenous cultures around the world.  Last year we visited Asia and Australia.  This year we’ll explore Africa and the Pacific Northwest Tribes.

Understanding the uniqueness of individual cultures helps tie us all together as children of the earth.

Taught by Eugene Waldorf School handwork teachers Karen Tyler and Karen Clarke
