- Non-refundable $50 enrollment fee per child, due with application.
- $225 annual supply fee per child.
- Other nominal fees may apply.
- Non-refundable tuition deposit of $150 per child, applied towards the annual tuition obligation. The tuition deposit must be paid before the child may begin class.
- Sibling discounts are available. Based on a family’s income, a graduated scale for sibling discounts applies. At full tuition, the sibling discount is 20% for the second child, 50% for the third child, and 70% for the fourth and subsequent children. For all other tuition rates, sibling discounts are based on a graduated scale according to the tuition level.
How Does Indexed Tuition Work?
The Eugene Waldorf School’s indexed tuition system is based on a family’s financial resources. Individual family determinations will be processed by an online financial application through TADS, a third-party assessment service. Beginning on Monday, March 16, families will be able to create an online account and complete the financial application for our school. Current families must complete a TADS application by Friday, April 17 to have tuition calculations using the indexed tuition scale for the 2020-2021 school year. Current families who do not complete a TADS application by Friday, April 17 will receive contracts for the full tuition amounts. Prospective families may also complete a TADS application by April 17 in order to obtain a tuition determination for the 2020-2021 school year. By May 1, tuition determinations and contracts will be sent to all families, who complete a TADS application by April 17. Other prospective families may complete the TADS application on a rolling basis throughout the year. All applications must include the prior year tax return. The TADS application fee is $45 per family.
Please contact Maren Tomblin at [email protected] for information on how to complete a TADS application.
Under the new indexed system, the tuition ranges are from a minimum of $6,350 to a maximum of $12,117 for grades students, and from a minimum of $6,350 to a maximum of $9,599 for early childhood students. The indexed tuition scale will not apply to two and three day early childhood schedules. These rates are: $4,053 (two day) and $5,917(three day).
Families who choose to pay the full tuition amount are not required to complete the financial application via TADS.
Families must sign annual contracts that reflect a child’s annual tuition, either based on an individual tuition determination, or full tuition where a financial review is waived. Tuition contracts for re-enrolling families must be signed and returned by May 30, 2020.
Families who pay tuition in full by July 31, 2020 are eligible for a 2% discount. Tuition that is not pre-paid can be paid monthly. Tuition contracts typically run on a 10-month from September through June. Families wishing to pay over 11 or 12 months may arrange fro an individual payment plan from the business office.
After School Care
After School Care (ASC) is optionally available for all enrolled children through fifth grade, 12:30 – 5:30 pm.
