Fifth Grade Class Teacher

The Eugene Waldorf School seeks applicants for a teaching position in Grade 5 beginning in fall of 2020. To be considered for this position, a Waldorf teacher-training certificate is required and an active relationship with anthroposophy is necessary. We prefer candidates with classroom experience in the 1st-8th grades age group and value the additional educational development of attaining a bachelor’s degree. Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills, work collegially and are enthusiastic about parent education. Benefits include tuition remission, family health insurance, retirement, professional development days and mentoring.

Located between the beautiful Cascades and the pristine Pacific coast, our area offers many outdoor and recreational activities. Home to the University of Oregon, Eugene  also offers a host of cultural activities – a vibrant arts community, a thriving theater and diverse music scene. Various farmers’ markets offer crafts and produce from many local artisans, organic and biodynamic farmers. Eugene  is a terrific place to raise and care for children, and the children are the center of our school.
