Eugene Waldorf School
Established in 1980, the Eugene Waldorf School believes that children deserve an inspired education that allows them to grow up strong, happy and healthy. Children thrive in our school, which serves students in preschool through grade eight. Our dedicated and loving teachers provide a solid foundation for lifelong learning by joyfully immersing children in art, music, math, language, movement and play.
Our mission is to educate the whole child for the future, equally engaging body, mind, and spirit. Our teachers foster a love of learning by enlivening the imagination, strengthening the creative will, deepening understanding, and awakening a sense of community. Our academic program integrates the arts, humanities, and sciences. We strive to help all children develop their unique physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual capacities. This enables each individual to responsibly enter in freedom into an ever-changing local and global community.
Grandparents and special friends are invited to come enjoy time in the classrooms, tea, conversation and the all-school Thanksgiving assembly.
Join us for candle dipping, a puppet show, crafts, cake walks, the Crystal Cookie Cave, food and games, the Russian Tea Room the Golden Goose school store, lots of live music and more! Admission is free. Most activities require tickets, which are $2.00 each.
