Step into a summer alive with artistry and imagination. Our arts camps for children in rising grades two - eight invite young creators to explore the visual, performing, and cultural arts in a joyful, hands-on way guided by Waldorf-trained teachers. Campers will paint, draw, move, make music, and tell stories, weaving creativity with time outdoors, play, and shared discovery. Through meaningful artistic work and collaboration, imaginations are stirred, skills are nurtured, and a deeper sense of confidence and connection begins to unfold. Mandalas, Large and Small with Ms. Taylor
Circles in nature, seasons, and human creativity will inspire our arts and crafts in this camp. We will work with found items, plants and flowers, clay, sand, food, paper and even garbage to create mandalas. These universal sacred images offer a way for expressing inside and outside, belonging and isolation, and freedom and form. We will also play circle games that focus on collaboration and cooperation, with flexibility for creative ideas to arise from the group. New ideas, glorious mistakes, and appreciation of one another’s efforts are all encouraged!
July 20 - 24
Clown Club with Ms. Mariko & Mr. Christo
Clown Camp is a one-week creative camp where kids get to move, imagine, and be wonderfully silly together. Through games, movement, and playful exploration, campers discover what makes them funny and how to share that joy with others. Each day is filled with physical warm-ups, goofy walks, emotion games, and group activities that help kids loosen up, build confidence, and practice working as a team. Campers are encouraged to try new things, make mistakes, and turn those moments into laughs. There are no wrong ideas here, just playful discoveries. Kids will create their own simple clown characters with names, movements, and silly quirks, then work together to build short scenes and group moments. Along the way, they practice listening, cooperation, and taking turns in the spotlight. The focus is always on having fun, supporting each other, and being brave enough to play. Clown Camp activities are age-appropriate and comfortable for everyone. No theater or performance experience is needed. The week ends with a joyful, low-pressure clown show for family and friends, celebrating creativity, confidence, and the simple magic of kids playing together.

Join us for color play with fiber and plants! Create rainbows and colorways using natural dyes and fibers and create treasured keepsakes. Explore the colors one can get from flower, roots, leaves and stems. Paint a unique picture with a plant paintbrush and flower ink. Use the sun to make wonderful solar pictures with natural materials. Make a book of flower colors with real flowers pressed into the pages. We will explore and create and have so much fun with what our gardens offer to change the colors of things. We will be outside for most of the day, so sun hat and layers are essential. Look forward to all the colors we can create this summer.

Fairy & Gnome Houses with Ms. Clarke
A whimsical camp where imagination leads the way. It's a magical mix of creativity, outdoor fun and make believe, where tiny doors open to big adventure.
Rock Explorers: Felt Geodes Lab. Crack open the world of rocks and crystals! In this mix of science and art, campers will learn how geodes form through simple experiments and play. They will create their own hand-felted geodes to take home using colorful wool and sparkles.
